David – EMEA Revenue Accounting

I've worked in McAfee now for over five years firstly on the general ledger team and after two years joined the revenue accounting team. Within my current role I have the opportunity to work with and interact with a wide range of departments and through this interaction I really see how great all the people are within McAfee on a professional and personal level. McAfee is a fantastic company to work for as you are constantly challenged and allowed to use your initiative where ever possible. McAfee always encouraged self development and provide an abundance of training opportunities to help you reach your goals and aspirations.

Ann – Inside Sales Team Lead, NEur

Work brought me from the heart of Europe, Brussels to the heart of religion, Jerusalem, all that had its own challenges… looking back it was a good learning curve to arrive in Ireland for McAfee. Now I've been working for McAfee for over 4 years, little more than one year in Ireland. Based out of Cork it gives me the opportunity to be close to the main land of Europe with all the rush and action if I need to travel and still be in Cork that has that local friendly touch with lots of green for rest and relaxation in the weekends… There are lots of things to do in and around the city, if you like social life or just green nature, beach or mountains you have it all… McAfee is a great company to work for with great carrier opportunities… Where people get recognition for what they do and were safe never sleeps… We work in a multicultural work environment where every employee is unique and can work as an individual but we work as a team to make sure that our customers get the best service available on the market from the best vendor of security in the market. What is it like to work for McAfee? In a nutshell, brilliant! The day I entered the building in Cork for my first interview I felt there was a lovely vibe here and it struck me as potentially being a great place to work. Staff seemed to be

happy and content and 9 months later I still really believe this! I feel that candidates are very well matched to their roles within McAfee and that in all different sectors of the business the staff are extremely dedicated and knowledgeable about their jobs. Teams are solid and the sense of pulling together is very strong which makes all the difference. Even though my role is a standalone role, I have a global team who are there to support me should I need assistance at any time. There is a lovely culture within McAfee. Staff have pride in their work and that leads to a very positive working environment. I find my role as Office Manager in Cork busy, challenging, sometimes frustrating but extremely satisfying at the same time. Ciara – IT Support Engineer

I have been working as an IT Engineer for McAfee since November 2009. I was recruited initially to assist with the move to our new office in Citygate which happened in Jan/Feb 2010. McAfee is my first permanent job having mainly being a self-employed contractor since graduating. It's been an extremely positive experience and I can honestly say for the first time in my career, I love my job! The people I work with are first class, there is a great atmosphere in the office and I have been able to get involved in the Sports and Social club, Tag Rugby as well as being trained to be a Site first aider. The quarterly goals are a nice motivator – it's satisfying to get a bonus for working hard & my manager is proactively involved in my career development & planning. I hope to stay with McAfee a long time.

Marco – AP Co-ordinator

I graduated from Cork Institute of Technology, in 2006 and joined McAfee in August of the same year. I have been working since in Accounts Payable.

I have met a lot of very cheerful and interesting people. Because of the layout of the office different teams work closely together. Interaction between different team members is almost inevitable. There is definitely an easy going atmosphere in the office that makes this place quite unique.

If I were to chose which company to work, for I would definitely pick McAfee without a doubt.

John – Localisation QA Engineer

Damien – Software Development Engineer

I have been with McAfee as a software developer for over 6 years, and since joining I have worked with a number of teams on a broad range of products and technologies. I'm currently working on cutting-edge development work within McAfee Labs which is both challenging and exciting. With over 14 years' experience in the industry I'm still learning new things every day which is one of the benefits of working with a company that is continually pushing the boundaries' and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
