McAfee has had significant operations in Cork since 2004, the workforce here is at the heart of much of what the company does in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) but also our Asia-Pacific and international markets including Finance support and analysis, Sales, Engineering – Localisation and Research and Development, Logistics, Human Resources, Order and Quote Operations. The company's EMEA headquarters is based in Mahon.

The creation of an additional Inside Sales 100 jobs by McAfee since September 2009 demonstrates Ireland's continued ability to provide a nurturing environment where leading-edge corporations can continue to expand.

Further new jobs in the research area are part of a €6m investment that will bring the total number of McAfee employees in Ireland to 330.The investment involves carrying out a R&D project focused on new security technologies focusing on Cloud, Anti-Virus and Encryption Technologies. These jobs provide an opportunity for talented software engineers to work in the exciting area of creating leading edge security technologies in our relentless fight against cyber crime.
